Upanishad Ganga
Upanishad Ganga is a 2012 Indian television drama series based on the message in the Upanishads, directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Chinmaya Mission.[1][2] It started telecast from 11 March 2012 on DD National,[3] with a total of 52 episodes based on the Upanishads highlighting the ideal thinking and empowerment provided by the Vedic society in India. The series was conceptualised by Swami Tejomayananda the global head of Chinmaya Mission. Dwiwedi is most known for his lead role in TV series, Chanakya. One of the cast is Abhimanyu Singh, who is playing 33 different roles in the series. Music for the series was composed by Amod Bhatt.[4]
In 2013 the series was nominated for an Indian Telly Award.[1][5]
