Paapnaashini Ganga is a mythological serial produced by Peninsula Pictures. The series started premiering on 1 March 2021 on Ishara TV, starring Ashi Singh and Aakriti Sharma[1] in lead roles.
Plot[edit]
The demon Andhaka begins to engulf the world with darkness. Tired of his atrocities, the Devas begin worshipping Goddess Adi Parashakti. She promises to be born on Earth as the daughter of the mountain King Himavat and Queen Mainavati in order to purify the world once again. This daughter of the mountain, and elder sister of Goddess Parvati, is none other than the magnificent river Goddess Ganga. Lord Brahma orders Ganga, a goddess born from the divine feet of Vishnu and sustained in Lord Shiva's locks, to bless and protect the humans on Earth.
