Urban Research Program

The Urban Research Program formerly The Urban Research Center was established in 2006 as an official university research centre and program at Western Sydney University, NSW, Australia formerly the University of Western Sydney, NSW, Australia. The Urban Research Program engages in research relating to urban growth, infrastructure development, housing issues, economic development pathways, sustainability and governance. Current projects include work on corporate power, urban design, innovation, spatial indicators and critical insights into green-fields, grey-fields and brown-fields developments.
The Urban Research Program's research themes are infrastructure, spatial economic analysis, urban performance indicators, mega-urban projects, sustainable cities, and innovation and employment.
