Cause and Effect is the debut studio album by American musician Agnorsy. The album was recorded from November 2024 to January 2025 and was released through Work Shop Recordings and Snowstorm Entertainment. The album was introduced with two singles titled "Scapegoat" and "Take It All Away". The album was officially released on January 28, 2025. The album would be described as a nu metal album that also features rap metal and alternative metal elements.
The album was recorded in The Basement studio in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. All of the songs were produced, mixed and mastered by Grayson Rupp and Agnorsy. The album was made to further promote the nu metal genre for the genre’s fanbase of the 2020s. It was made to "rebuild" the genre and help the fanbase of nu metal grow throughout the world and for the genre to rise again.
The non-single song titled "Uselessness" doesn't provide the nu metal elements like the rest of the album.
