Сharacteristics
Spectral type and location
His spectral type of this star is M2 D. This means why this star is red.[2] The V517 Monocerotis is located in the equatorial region of celestial sky. His celestial hemisphere is equal to Earth's hemisphere. Being in the equatorial region of the Earth, You can see the V517 Monocerotis in both terrestrial hemisphere. But there is a catch: the distance from the Sun to south depends on your location. The V517 Monocerotis is located south of the ecliptic. The Ecliptic is the path that the Earth takes as it orbits the Sun.
Radial velocity
The Radial velocity is the when the star which moves away from Sun. The Radial velocity of the V517 Monocerotis is 61.98000 km/s. When the value the negative they can be getting closer to one, but his Radial velocity is positive which means the two starts are moving away.[3]
