Early life[edit]
Amaobi Udeh is a native of Neni, Anambra State but he was born in Lagos State, Nigeria where he had his basic and secondary education. He later moved to Owerri, Imo state where he had his tertiary education at the Imo State University. Born to a father who loved music and had a huge music collection, Mobi developed interest in music at a tender age. He grew up listening to various genres of music over the small transistor radio his father bought him including pop, afrobeats, EDM, jazz, hip hop, rhythm and blues. Soon became popular as a DJ for hosting a throwback party themed "Surge", an event which had different DJs playing all genres of songs from the early 90s and 2000s era and for his appearance at high-profile weddings.[1]

After working briefly with a hotel and an event firm, Mobi moved to Abuja, Nigeria in 2011 and was employed at Chelsea Hotel where he worked for a short period. In 2013, he started disc jockeying professionally and had his first club gig at Billionaires by Crystal Abuja while still with working at the hotel. He has since gone on to several high-profile events and night clubs in Abuja including the Grill at the Pent hosted by Ciroc [2][3] , traditional wedding ceremonies of RT Hon. Dimeji Bankole, the Ciroc Summer House Party[4] [5]and many other events around Nigeria.
