Biography
Vipul Dave was born on 28 June 1992 to Hasmukhbhai Dave and Kundanben Dave in Himatnagar town of Gujarat State in a middle class Marwadi Business family. He is known for his Social - Political Life.
Earlier Life
He completed his High School education from New English Higher Secondary School in 2009 in the Science Stream. Vipul dropped his Civil Engineering study from Gujarat Technological University in the final year due to his Social Political life in 2012. He moved to Vadodara as his family business shifted to the city. His Grandfather gave many photoshoots for many magazines and had political connections with George Fernandis, a trade activist, and Chimanbhai Patel, chief minister of Gujarat. His uncle is also an active politician in Indian National Congress Sabarkantha District.
Career
He joined an NGO Consumer Rights Organisation in 2017 as Vice President of Vadodara City, as he was interested in doing social work. There he connected with a local Indian National Congress leader and joined Indian National Congress in 2017. He was appointed as City Vice President in Congress Vichar Vibhag and was given charge of Social Media promotion for the Gujarat State Assembly Election 2017. After one year, he was promoted as Vice President of Central Gujarat Loksakar Cell of Indian National Congress.
In 2018, he was given charge of Central Gujarat to perform certain events and activities for Consumer Awareness and Rights. After many successful events and awareness camps and consumer raids, he was awarded the position of President of Consumer Rights Organisation of Vadodara City to strengthen the organisational structure and work for the society.
In 2019, due to some personal reasons and differences with party leaders, he offered to resign from all posts of Indian National Congress, but somehow it was not accepted by the party leader.
Study For Sell[1]
In May 2017, he was a core member for the Study for Sell protest against School Authorities for unethical fee hikes and against those who had made a business of education. The protest was supported by many Parents and the government of Gujarat ordered the fee hikes to be withdrawn.
Asthitva -Walk for Akhand Bharat
On 3rd Oct 2017, a big rally with 1001 ft Tricolor Flag walk was organised along with RedFM, VYO under the leadership of Vipul Dave and Arnab Desai -State President Gujarat for Consumer Rights Organisation for the Awareness on Consumer rights and addiction free Gujarat along with more than 2000 students participating in Vadodara.
Bill Leke Dekho[2]
In December 2017, a signature campaign was organised in a busy market of Vadodara by Consumer Rights Organisation under the leadership of Vipul Dave and spread awareness under the campaign Bill Leke Dekho with consumers and shopkeepers about the benefits of taking a bill after purchase.
Consumer Raid at Vadodara
Vipul conducted a consumer raid on 03 June 2020 in a shop in Vadodara that was selling duplicate products and was not providing bills to consumers. He took action against the shopkeeper, who apologised and gave a written assurance that he would never abuse consumers and would provide bills.
Memorandum against School Mafia's
He, along with his organisation members and volunteers, took charge against the Schools in Gujarat that were charging excessive fees, which was against the FRC Committee rules. They took steps against many schools and submitted a report to the District Education Officer of Vadodara.
