Vahid Rasim oghlu Hajiyev (Azerbaijani: Vahid Rasim oğlu Hacıyev 19 April 1983) is an Azerbaijani public figure who serves as the special representative of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Zangilan district.
Biography[edit]
Vahid Hajiyev was born on 19 April 1983 in Baku and graduated from technical-humanitarian high school No. 2. In 2003, he received a bachelor's degree at the Faculty of International Law and International Relations of Baku State University, and a master's degree in International Law and International Relations at the same university in 2005. Later, in 2019, he obtained a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Warwick, Great Britain .
He speaks Russian and English. He is married and has three children.
Career[edit]
In 2004, Vahid Hajiyev began his professional career as a leading auditor in Deloitte Azerbaijan. From 2007 to 2009, he worked as a tax analyst at BP Azerbaijan. Then he was a tax consultant at BP Azerbaijan from 2007-2010. From 2012 to 2014, he worked as the Head of the Tax Reporting Department for BP Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey. From 2014 to 2017, he worked as a Chief of Staff at BP Azerbaijan. From 2017 to 2019, he held the position of the commercial director of the production division on the Shallow Water Absheron Peninsula at BP Azerbaijan, and from 2019 to 2020, he held the position of commercial director for all exploration projects in the same company. Later, in 2020-2022, he worked as a director at "Agro Dairy" LLC, which operates in crop and grain cultivation. On 4 May 2022, he was appointed a special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Zangilan district.[1][2] On July 22, 2022, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he was appointed the chairman of the Supervisory Board of the public legal entity "Restoration, Construction and Management Service No. 1 in the Eastern Zangezur Economic District".[3] On 22.06.2022, Vahid Hajiyev received the 3rd-degree state counselor qualification.[4]
