Vanessa Fiore (born March 16, 1998) is a Canadian soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Woodbridge Strikers at the League1 Ontario.
Early life[edit]
Fiore was born in Brampton, Ontario. She began playing soccer at age four with Bolton Wanderers SC. She initially played as a Striker/Forward, before eventually transitioning to the Goalkeeper role. She later played for Caledon SC, before returning to Bolton. She also played for the Ontario provincial team.
College career[edit]
In 2016, she committed to Humber College where she played for the Humber Hawks. Fiore was named captain and poster girl in her freshman year. Also in her freshman season, she set the all-time Humber Hawk win record and in her second year Fiore earned the most clean sheets in a single OCAA season. Her nine career OCAA postseason clean sheets are the most in program history. In 2019, she became the fifth player in program history to record three clean sheets in one OCAA championship tournament.
In her final year, Fiore ended up finishing with the most wins and clean sheets in Humber Hawks varsity women soccer history. Fiore earned several individual honours, as well as racking up three OCCA Indoor Soccer GOLD medals, one OCAA Indoor Soccer Silver Medal, three OCAA Outdoor Soccer Silver Medals and two OCAA Outdoor Soccer Bronze Medals.

Club career[edit]
From 2016 to 2018, she played for North Mississauga SC in League1 Ontario. In 2018 Fiore became a League1 Ontario CUP champion with North Mississauga.
In 2018, she joined Woodbridge Strikers in League1 Ontario. In her second season she won her second L1OW CUP with the Strikers this time around, in 2018. Her third season with Woodbridge Strikers SC, the club finally captured there first League1 Ontario Women's division championship in 2021.
League1 Ontario 2021 Awards, Fiore won the Goalkeeper of the Year Award, Golden Glove and First Team All-Star.[1]
