Vanessa Maria Martinez (born December 4, 1986) is an American actress, singer and talk show host. She is best known for Penny Cillissen in musical film Penny Goes Metropolitan (2004), Ringmastress Rosie in JoJo’s Circus and Penny in the Mellow Pink franchise (2006–present)
Martinez achieved fame as a child actress with her breakout role in Sarafina!. She starred in a string of successful films during the 1990s and 2000s, including August Rush, Big, Bombay Dreams, Starlight Express and Life of Viviana Terryl Resse. Martinez starred with Micheal Buscemi in the films The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Her other films include Penny Goes Metropolitan, Penny Goes Metropolitan 2, Penny Goes Metropolitan 3 and Penny Goes Metropolitan 4.
