Varanai vari Kandriga is a village in Indukurupeta mandal in Nellore district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1] It is located in Kovur (Assembly constituency).
Geography
Varanasi Vari Kandriga is located at 14°30′04″N 80°07′33″E / 14.5010687°N 80.125839°E
. It has an average elevation of 4 meters (16 feet). The village is located approximately 17km east from district headquarters Nellore and 4km north of Indukurupeta mandal. Kandriga is a small remote hamlet situated 1km north of Ravuru Kandriga (Arisevari Kandriga). A total of 30 families live here. Paddy and banana are grown. The word Kandriga means a land donated to brahmins by a Muslim ruler. Varanasi Vari Kandriga is also called Ayyavarla Kandriga.
The village is included in Komarika panchayat.
Transport
The nearest railway station is in Nellore. APSRTC buses are available from Atmakur bus station in Nellore to Ravuru kandriga and from there one has to walk for 1km to the village. Many autos and private vehicles are also available. The nearest airports are in Kadapa, Chennai and Vijayawada.
