) was an Indian Tamil-language soap opera which aired at 1.00pm on Sun TV. It aired on Monday to Friday weekdays from 03 September 2007 to 27 January 2012 for 1109 episodes. [1][2]
Plot[edit]
The story mainly talks about Akila and her family life which changes due to her married life.
Akila, a hard-working, ambitious woman with strong beliefs and marries her lover Jeeva. Akila gives birth to their female child but Jeeva never goes to visit the child and eventually the two will separate.
After so many problems, a new character Shenbagam is introduced and claims to be the first lover with Jeeva. More problems start arising when Shenbagam does criminal things to permanently separate the couple, kidnapping Jeeva and blame Akila for the misery. At one point she gets caught and abandoned by Jeeva'a family and reveals that she killed her own twin sister, behaving like her sister Marikolundhu.
After Akila story wraps up, her friend Nandhini (Shamitha) is introduced and eventually the plot will be all about her married life and how she combats the problems surrounding her.
