Vaxinia
Vaxinia Or known as C33-hNIS is an Oncolytic species of virus made for the purpose of killing Cancer Cells and while avoiding Human Cells. It was genetically modified.
History
C33-hNIS went on trial in 2022 and during May 17th, 2022, the first phase of clinical testing started with a patient with Solid Tumors[1][2] and the first clinical trial will end by 2025 or is expected to. It has two current types, which can either be injected into the tumor directly or into a blood vein or vessel, and during trials was actually beneficial to the immune system due to an antibody named Pembrolizumab which, according to Imugene.
