Veena Nair is an Indian actress who appears in Malayalam films and television shows. She is best known for portraying comedic roles, but has also played character roles. She participated in second season of the Malayalam reality TV series Bigg Boss.[1] Veena made his acting debut with Vellimoonga, a commercial success.
Early life and education[edit]
Veena was born to Babu and Lathika in Olassa, Kottayam district in Kerala, India. She has a brother.[2]
Career[edit]
Veena made her debut in Jibu Jacob's Vellimoonga.[3] She had also established as a lead actress in the Malayalam television industry with serials like Thatteem Mutteem[4], Akkamma Stalinum Pathrose Gandhiyum and Velankanni Mathavu before focusing on her film career.[5]
In 2020, Veena took part in the Malayalam reality television show Bigg Boss hosted by Mohanlal for the Asianet channel. She was evicted from the show on day 63.
She is also a television host and manages the YouTube Vlogging channel.[6]

Personal life[edit]
On 21 June 2014, Veena married radio jockey Swathy Suresh Bhymi.[10] The couple have a son Dhanwin, born on 12 November 2016. After marriage, Veena moved to her husband's home at Perunna, Changanassery.[2]
