The Veiled Son (Italian: Figlio velato) is a 2019 marble sculpture by Italian artist Jago exhibited in the Chiesa di San Severo fuori le mura, Naples.[1]
Inspired by the Veiled Christ by Giuseppe Sanmartino, it represents a reclining child covered by a veil.
It was built in New York City to then be permanently moved to Naples, in an area of the city very characterized by high social exclusion, to become a symbol of rebirth.
