Vera Ivanovna Shpak (Russian: Вера Ивановна Шпак; born 6 February 1989) is a Belarusian and Russian theater and film actress.[2]

Biography[edit]

Vera Shpak was born in Minsk, Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic, Soviet Union. Her father is a university teacher, and her mother is a dentist. After high school, she studied at a language school in Bournemouth, England.[3]

In 2000 to 2005, she was a soloist of the Minsk Theater Pop Song. In 2006 she entered the Minsk State Linguistic University and, the same year, she won the TV contest "Constellation of Hopes". In 2007, she was the lead singer of the Belarusian group "Slavyanka". In 2008, she transferred to the St. Petersburg Institute of Foreign Languages at the Faculty of English language specialization "interpretation and jurisprudence". The following year, she entered the Moscow Art Theatre School, Konstantin Raikin Course.

Since 2013, she has performed in St. Petersburg at the Alexandrinsky Theater of Valery Fokin. Since 2014, she has acted with the Moscow Provincial Theatre under the direction of Sergey Bezrukov.
