Veronica Vitale known professionally as Veronica Vitale / 𝑰-𝑽𝑬𝑬 is an International Recording Artist, Singer-Songwriter, Music Executive and Film Score Composer born in Pompeii, Italy and resident in the United States of America. She has been writing songs since the age of 11. She is the youngest Italian woman from Campania region to fulfill the position of Executive Producer in the American Music Industry.^[3] She is considered by Italian critics one of the most visionary sound designers ^[4]^[5] and the founder of the Manifesto for the “Liquid Fluid” Music Genre. ^[6]^[7]

Her debut album "Nel mio bosco Reale” (“Throughout my Royal Grove”) reached Top 10 Amazon Chart in Germany in 2011 alongside with David Guetta, FloRida and Sean Paul while her song “Hangover” peaked Top 5 Deutsche Newcomercharts for six consecutive weeks. She’s was the first Italian artist to join Lady Gaga’s call for help alongside with MTV to support IFRC (International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies) and Humanitarian Response Tōhoku Earthquake and Tsunami in 2011. She attained further popularity after moving to the United States of America in 2013 releasing several singles as lead artist and collaborations with, among others, Bootsy Collins, Stelvio Cipriani, The Mad Stuntman, Chew Fu, Leon Hendrix, Boyd Grafmyre. In 2017 during the 36th Chicago Music Awards, Veronica was endorsed by Joe Jackson, father of Micheal Jackson.^[8]

Early life[edit]

Veronica Vitale was born on 25 January 1988 in Pompeii, and raised in Boscoreale commune in the Metropolitan City of Naples, Italy.^[9] Her father Giuseppe, was a financial and investment manager for Poste Italiane graduated in math and physics in Naples, her mother Carolina was a teacher at the IC 1 Cangemi Boscoreale, graduated in physiotherapy and humanities, both now retired. Vitale attended both the Catholic Private High School of Humanities “Santa Caterina da Siena” in Pompeii and the High School of Music “Accademia Franz Carella” in Scafati, taking vocal lessons and attending the class of music theory, solfeggio and contemporary piano.

Vitale received a BA with honors from University of Salerno in 2009 with a major in Humanities, Philosophical and Educational Science and a minor in Transavantgarde and Neo-futurism. At the University of Salerno She received her MA in Pedagogy and graduated as valedictorian in 2013 for laying the foundations for an “Advanced System Sciences Theory and a New Theory of Education” developed with Dr. Ervin Laszlo and the Club of Budapest, and a PhD from the Giordano Bruno Global shift University in the interdisciplinary field of System Sciences and Quantum Consciousness in 2015.^[10]^[11]^[12]^[13]

2006 – 2014:[edit]

After winning the “Ulisse” Award created by Renato Zero and Fonopoli Label in 2006 with the song “Al di là di Me”, Veronica began sharing her songs on Myspace in 2008, leading to her discovery by a former Sony Music Entertainment GmbH A/R.^[14] She originally gained recognition in Germany after signing a recording contract in 2009 with FBP Music Publishing and EMG – European Music Group (now owned by Interscope Records) in Frankfurt am Main.^[15] On December 24th 2010 Vitale released “Nel mio bosco Reale” debut album in Italian language gathering 700.000 streams on Myspace and her first music single “Hangover” peaked German Top 10 Chart on Amazon Music for 6 consecutive weeks in January 2011 as well as number 3 in the Top Newcomer Chart in Germany and Top 40 Pop in Deutschland for 1 week ^[16]^[17]^[18]^[19]^[20] With her debut album “Nel mio bosco Reale” she received the recognition of “International Recording Artist” by MIPA Der Musikmesse International Press Award in 2011. ^[21]

Her music single “Il Cielo / (Heaven)” was joined the collaborative project between the music industry's "big four" record labels (EMI, Sony, Universal, and Warner) “Song’s for Japan” “Newcomer’s Help” released by Record Label 7Music and Deshima. Vitale agreed to wave all the proceeds to Deutsche Rotes Kreuz & Wings of Help as part of the Humanitarian Response to Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami 2011. ^[22]^[23]^[24]^[8]

In 2012 She travelled to the United States for the first time, to perform the National Anthem at the USS Arizona Memorial Centre in Pearl Harbor, Oahu Island, Hawaii invited by SSG Phelps from 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment "The Wolfhounds" and the troops homecoming from Afghanistan.^[25]^[26]

In September 2013 Vitale moved to Seattle, Washington where she started developing her Captain’s Logbook and the basic concepts for the project “Inside The Outsider” and her "genre-defying" LIQUID FLUID POP Music ^[27]^[28] while also collaborating with the Jimi Hendrix Family Foundation by Sir Gary Karsel, Boyd Grafmyre and Manager Glenn Coggeshell. ^[29]

In 2014 Vitale won the Critic Choice "Gitarren Statt Knarren" Award in Winnendem , Germany with the song "Under The Sky of Another Dream" ^[30] which studio release gains the feature of guitar solo played by Leon Hendrix brother of Jimi Hendrix.^[31]^[32]

2015-2020[edit]

In 2015 Vitale moved to Cincinnati, Ohio and joined Bootzilla Productions to collaborate with Bootsy Collins. ^[33] She received the Act of Lovingkindness Award 2015 from John Cranley, Mayor of Cincinnati. ^[34] In Cincinnati as director and composer, she records the pure sounds of cities and transforms them into soundtracks and multimedia installations that led to the creation of her "Liquid Fluid Pop" Manifesto of Art. ^[35]^[36] “Her work explores the relationship between the performer and audience, the limits of the body, and the possibilities of the mind. Her art is Ultra Dynamic in the age of techno-glitch aesthetics.” ^[37] Also in 2015 In Rome, Italy Vitale became the official voice on the new release of “To Be the One You Love” from the movie “ The Anonymous Venetian” by Italian Composer Stelvio Cipriani. ^[38] ^[39] Cipriani was also her Master and Mentor until his late departure in 2018. Before his passing, They composed 60 hours of soundtracks for the Vatican project “Catechism of Catholic Church” produced by GJON KOLNDREKAJ, cousin of Mother Theresa of Calcutta. ^[40]^[41]^[42]In May 2018 Vitale produces “World Travels" featuring The Mad Stuntman, known for his hit single "I Like to Move it" also used in the DreamWorks Pictures Film “Madagascar”.^[43]^[44]In April 2020 during Covid-19 Pandemic, Vitale released "Hymn To Humanity" a Prayer for Hope and Universal Brotherhood which became a viral web sensation within a week.^[45]^[46]^[47]^{[Virtual Write Away Magazine 1]}

1 month later, Vitale called for all artists around the world to create the “Hymn to Humanity Worldwide Choir Special Edition” which was ultimately performed in 25 languages, featuring 250 voices from the United States to Iraq, from South Africa to Nigeria and Australia, as well as involving Chief Tzamarenda Naychapi, Shaman from Ecuador's Shuar Tribe. The large participation to the call for artists, inspired Vitale to create a platform called Artist United where Artists can collaborate Online globally. ^[48]^[49]^[50]

In late 2020, Veronica Vitale released music anthology “Prismatic Dojo – The All Color Theory Album” composed together with her husband Patrick J Hamilton. The record is a contemporary scientific experiment between colors gradients and music frequencies brought together to heal mind and soul. Every album has different shades of colors and was created in environments reflecting the specific color of the tracks you will listen, to study the influence and effect those illuminating wave lengths would have on the human psyche and creative process.^[51]^[52]

April 22, 2021, she released “I’d rather be with you” featuring Ouiwey Collins, the son of Bootsy Collins, followed by a second Avant-Pop version “I’d rather be with you (Ego Sum Machina)”

June 19 2021, Veronica Vitale received in Lecce the “High Recognition of Virtues and Knowledge” Virtù e Conoscenza” as Mediterranean Excellency.^[53]^[54]^[55]^[56]

September 24, 2021, she releases the music single “Transparent” which embraces her strong stance against bullying, cyber-bullying and raises awareness on self-harm. The official video was premiered on Billboard Italia.^[6]^[8]

In November 2021, Veronica Vitale releases her music single “Nobody is Perfect” featuring Bootsy Collins ^[57]^[58]shortly followed by the complete “Nobody is Perfect Experience” EP.^[59]^[60]^[61]
