Early life[edit]
Victor Ai took his undergraduate studies to Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada. Here, he received a BSc in Economics, before obtaining a MSc in Finance, from Washington University in St. Louis. Victor also holds an Executive MBA from the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business.[3][4]

In 2015, the formation of Terminus Group was announced by its founder and CEO, Victor Ai. The stated ambition of the company was to facilitate and serve the growing demand for urban digital transformation and sustainable development of futuristic cities. Announced by its founder and CEO, Victor Ai, Terminus Group is a smart services provider with specialisation in the integration or overlaying of cutting-edge AloT technologies across city-wide conurbations. Since its formation and under Victor’s stewardship, Terminus Group has taken on and demonstrated capabilities to successfully manage and develop multiple complex, city-wide projects, involving the integration or overlay of AI and AIoT technologies in urban environments. The company has also registered over 1,000 authorised patents and developed its own proprietary AI CITY digital infrastructure – TACOS (Terminus AI CITY Operating System).[5][6]
Terminus Group, the leading AIoT (Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things) tech company, is launching the first AI PARK project in Chongqing in Southwest China, according to Victor Ai, the founder and CEO of the company. In 2022, the AI Computing Centre of Terminus Group was officially established in Deyang AI Park, which is another R&D base created by the company, after the first-of-its-kind was developed, in Chongqing. Deyang AI Park has been designed to drive algorithm incubation, scientific research, personal training, and will become a hub dedicated to realising the potential of the development of the AI industrial ecosystems. Commenting on the development of the AICC concept, Victor AI, Founder and CEO of the Terminus Group, said:
