The Vietnam Workers and Farmers Party was a political party operating in the Republic of Vietnam from 1969 to 1975.
History[edit]
At the end of 1967 after the establishment of the Second Republic, Nguyễn Bá Cẩn, associated with MP Đặng Văn Sung of the Alliance of Agriculture and Industry in the Senate to establish the Bicameral Social Democratic Union. In 1969, this bloc associated with Trần Quốc Bửu - Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - to establish the Vietnam Workers' and Farmers Party. Trần Quốc Bửu was elected Party Chairman, and Nguyễn Bá Cẩn held the position of General Secretary.
After 30 April 1975 along with many other political organizations in South Vietnam, the Vietnam Workers' and Farmers Party was dissolved.
