Viktor Karasev (Russian: Виктор Карасев; born June 6, 1989) is a retired Russian male roller skier who participated in international competitions between 2008 and 2014. He was a three-time champion in the world cup sprint finals in roller skiing.[1][2]
Sports Career[edit]
Karasev’s first world cup appearance was in Piglio, Italy on June 27, 2008, during the Roller Skiing Junior World Cup where he finished 22nd. In 2010, he was selected for the Russian main team and represented the country during the Roller skiing World cup in Germany. He achieved his first world cup victory in a sprint event during the 2013 Roller skiing World Cup in Novgorod, Russia. [1][3] Later that year, he won another victory at La Bresse, France. [4] He won his third victory in world cup sprint finals at Oroslavje, Croatia during the 2014 Roller Skiing World Cup. [5][6][1]
