Vinay Chandran
Vinay Chandran is a gay rights and human rights activist, a peer counsellor, and a writer based in Bangalore.
Chandran has given a TED Talk on Homosexuality in NIT Trichy.[1] He also runs a free helpline for counselling to LGBTQ individuals called Sahaya Helpline.[2] He has written a book based on his experience as a counsellor and many articles in the areas of Queer and Human rights.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9]
Activism
Chandran has been serving as the Director of the Bangalore Queer Film Festival (BQFF) from its inception in 2010 till 2016.[10]
