Vinay Chandran is a gay rights and human rights activist, a counselor, and a writer based in Bangalore.
Chandran has given a TED Talk on Homosexuality in NIT Trichy.[1] He also runs a free helpline for counseling to LGBTQ individuals called Sahaya Helpline.[2] He has written a book from his experience as a counselor and many articles as well in the areas of Queer and Human rights.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9]
Activism[edit]
Chandran has been serving as the Director of the Bangalore Queer Film Festival (BQFF) since its inception in 2008.[10]
