Vipul D. Shah[4] is an Indian television Producer and writer known for Fiction shows like Ladies Special and Kya Haal, Mr. Paanchal?[5] and non-fiction shows like Comedy Circus[6], Comedy Nights Bachao and Rising Star (Indian TV series)[7]. He is also the Managing Director at Optimystix Entertainment.
Early life and career[edit]
Vipul comes from a Gujarati Jain family. He began his professional career by writing and directing Gujarati serials but later he Co-Founded Tv production company Optimystix Entertainment with his partner Sanjiv Sharma.[8][1] He was given the opportunity to write Hindi comedy series Dekh Bhai Dekh[9], for which he got the TV and Video World award. Vipul also wrote for difference genres like comedy shows Philips Top 10 and horror shows like The Zee Horror Show. He has also created and directed Quiz based shows like Crossfire and Music centric shows like Chalti Ka Naam Antakshari.
Vipul has also written few feature films, Tamil Blockbuster Minnale[10] starring R. Madhavan and Reema Sen. later he also wrote for the Hindi version of Minnale, Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein starring Saif Ali Khan, Diya Mirza and R. Madhavan which he also co-directed.
