Virtualmetric is a monitoring software for networks, operating systems and applications, created by Yusuf Osturk in 2014. It is designed to monitor and track the status of various network services, servers, and other network hardware.
Virtualmetric supports VMware, IIS, MSSQL, Hyper-V, Bear Metal and Linux.[2] Its backend is written in Windows and the web frontend is written in Java. VirtualMetric's key features are:

VirtualMetric uses WS-Man protocol to connect and monitor Windows servers, therefore, allowing HTTP/HTTPS ports on firewall is enough to start monitoring.
VirtualMetric uses VMware vSphere Web Services to connect and monitor VMware servers. Allowing HTTP/HTTPS ports on firewall is enough to start monitoring.
VirtualMetric uses SSH.NET to connect and monitor Linux servers Allowing SSH/HTTP/HTTPS ports on firewall is enough to start monitoring.

VirtualMetric is designed for a clean and innovative reporting interface and enhanced for a simple user experience. VirtualMetric comes with many different dashboard elements and dynamic data tables so you don't need to know any programming language to create dashboards. You can export all historic data into different formats. All reports are printer friendly. You will have same user experience across all mobile devices because of our responsive dashboard design. - Realtime Monitoring
VirtualMetric can collect important processor, memory, disk and network counters in realtime. You can select more than one counter with different units and you can view them on same chart. You can filter Host Groups, Clusters or Hosts to monitor specific Hosts.
- VirtualMetric Insight
VirtualMetric Insight is our new tool which gives you the ability to create custom charts and reports by using our large sets of inventory and performance counters which now has more than 650 sensors. Unlike other products on the market today, VirtualMetric Insight offers the creation of performance charts and custom reports in real time.
- Change Tracking
VirtualMetric tracks every single change on your environment to keep you updated about undesired updates. You will never miss any software, hardware, service or configuration updates anymore. VirtualMetric gives you perfect insight on your environment. You can export all changes into CSV, Excel and PDF with specific date range.
- Network Security
VirtualMetric logs every TCP connections on your Hosts to troubleshoot network related issues and quickly identify DDoS attacks. VirtualMetric offers following reports for Network Security.
All established TCP connections with IP Address and Geo location information Dropped and Allowed TCP connections via Windows Firewall All authentication requests made by WinRM, SSH, RDP and Console connections Detailed user information with IP Address and Geo location information for logon requests

Last Quick and Full scan ages including their start and end times. Antimalware, Antispyware, Antivirus and NIS signature last update dates and signature versions. On Access and Real Time Protection status. Pending reboot status.
- Object Access Auditing
VirtualMetric offers Object Access Auditing to let you know what actually happened to your files and folders. Who accessed them, deleted them, edited them, moved them, where the files and folders went etc. You get precise information of object access such as which user performed the action, what was the result of the action, on which server it happened.
Installation Please download the latest publicly available VirtualMetric software from our website. You will need a product key to activate your VirtualMetric setup. One of our customer service representatives will contact with you to deliver your product key.
Updates are free to customers with an active maintenance contract. If you do not have an active maintenance contract, please contact with us. After your maintenance contract has expired, VirtualMetric will continue to work but you won't be able to get software updates
