Vitali Mikhailovich Zhironkin (Russian: Виталий Михайлович Жиронкин; born 10 March 2000) is a Russian football player who plays as a striker for Russian Premier League club CSKA Moscow.
Club career[edit]
Zhironkin began his career in the CSKA Moscow youth setup before progressing to the senior team. On 9 January 2019, CSKA Moscow announced that he had signed a new contract with the club until the summer of 2022.[1] Zhironkin was named in CSKA Moscow's 2018 Super Cup final squad.
International[edit]
Zhironkin has represented Russia at youth levels up to Russia national under-19 football team, making his debut for the team in October 2018, scoring against Montenegro in a 2019 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualification match.[2]
