Vivek Banerjee is a full-time paediatrician who is the Managing Partner of Banerjee Hospital in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is also a notable author. His debut novel, The Long Road was published by Cedar publishers in 2010. He is the author of the bestseller The Other Side[1][2] (authored along with Faraaz Kazi,[3] published by Mahaveer Publishers in 2013).

Vivek has also been a contributing author to Chicken Soup for Indian Doctors Soul published by Westland, "Shades of Love" published by Grapevine India, "Shades of Sin" published by APK,[4][5] "Seasons of love" by Sanmati publisher, "Carnival" published by Litizen.com, "Myriad Tales" and "Curtain Call" published by Half Baked Beans, "Her Story by Petals, LOVE (Lots Of Volatile Emotions) and Upper Cut by Red Ink Publishers. He won the award for the best story in a national level short story competition and the winning entry, The Hunter has been published in the anthology Kaleidoscope published by Parlance publishers.

His present passion is photography, particularly wildlife photography.[6]
