Vizzy Trophy

Vizzy Trophy is an annual inter-zonal university tournament of Cricket in India. The tournament is conducted by Association of Indian Universities, a member of Board of Control for Cricket in India. The tournament is named after former Indian cricketer and BCCI president Maharajkumar of Vizianagram.[1]

The Vizzy Trophy started in 1966–67. It is inter-university tournament.[4] BCCI and Association of Indian Universities (AIU) jointly organised it annually. As per BCCI tresure MP Pandove in 2011, BCCI stopped funding for this tournament. Traditionally it was held during February 2–9. Since 2010–11 the tournament not held.[5] 2018–19 Vizzy Trophy was held at ITM university's ground.[6]
