Volato is a fractional aircraft ownership program managed by Volato, Inc. and based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. They uniquely use the HondaJet as their flagship aircraft.[1]. In addition, they also offer jet card and aircraft charter services. As of the beginning of 2023, they manage a civilian fleet of 18 HondaJet aircraft. The Volato fractional program provides private air transportation, primarily within the United States, Canada, Mexico, The Bahamas, and the islands of the Caribbean. Volato guarantees departure times as soon as 48 hours after a flight request for domestic flights on non-peak days and 72 hours for international flights or on peak days. Volato, Inc. is not, itself, an air charter provider or commercial air carrier, but charter flights can be arranged through its wholly-owned subsidiary company, G C Aviation, Inc.[2] as part of its acquisition of Gulf Coast Aviation[3].

Volato is also expanding its fleet to include the Gulfstream G280[4][5][6].

In a significant development, Volato placed an order for 25 HondaJet Elite IIs[7], which is believed to be the biggest sale for the Honda Aircraft Company (HAC). This would make Volato the largest operator of this type of aircraft. The order, based on a list price of $6.95 million per jet, has a retail value of $174 million[8]
