Early life
Javon D. Black was born on June 30, 1998, in Pensacola, Florida. He is of African American descent and has two brothers and one younger sister. He cites his mother as the reason he became interested in video games, who encouraged him to pursue it as a hobby from a young age. Javon used to watch his mother play a game called Primal (video game) on the PlayStation 2 almost everyday when he returned home from school, which in turn inspired him to pick up a controller as well. In high school, Javon was enrolled in West Florida High School of Advanced Technology's multimedia career course to learn the ins and outs of video production and filmmaking. Although after high school, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, he joined the U.S. Army active duty to support himself directly out of high school. He later started his first YouTube channel after the release of the battle royale game Apex Legends. Though, due to his tight schedule with the military and school, he had to later quit making videos. Javon ended up pursuing his degree, graduating with an Associate of Arts degree[3] with a focus in communications from Central Texas College.
Career
Javon graduated high school in 2016[4] and left for Army basic training later that summer in August.[5]
