Dr Vuyane Mhlomi is a South African born cardiologist.
Background[edit]
He was born Khayelitsha, Cape Town. He was raised by a single mother after losing his father at a young age. Vuyane is the fourth born out of his ten siblings.
Academic Life[edit]
Dr Vuyane graduated with MBChB from the University of Cape Town in 2011. In the medical class of 171 students he graduated third best performing learner.After graduating he completed his residency in Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto. In 2013 he received a Rhodes Scholarship, 2017 Dr Mhlomi graduated with his PhD in Cardiology.
