Wagon Restaurant is a Lithuanian punk rock band from Kaunas, Lithuania, formed in 1990.
The majority of their songs are in Lithuanian, but they have also performed songs entirely or partially in other languages including English, French, and Russian. Wagon Restaurant have released one studio album: Miegojau prie stalo restorane (2018), with a new album planned for release in 2019.
History[edit]
Founding (1990–2002)[edit]
In 1990, lead vocalist Vilius Cucėnas started playing acoustic guitar and participate in student gatherings as musician. At that time, he was heavily influenced by Viktor Tsoi (Kino) music from where he got his nickname "Tsoi".
Lyrics[edit]
Nearly all of Wagon Restaurant's songs are in Lithuanian. The song "Miegojau prie stalo restorane" has version entirely in Russian.[1]
