Wako is a Norwegian jazz quartet. They have released 5 critically acclaimed albums and are known for collaborations with other musicians like Arve Henriksen, Jonas Kullhammar, Oslo Strings, Tore Brunborg, Sissel Vera Pettersen and Rob Waring[1][2]

Biography[edit]

Wako has been touring extensively since 2015 in most of Europe and recorded several albums where they have been collaborating with some of the best jazz musicians on the Nordic scene. Individually, the members are part of different bands and projects, such as the Norwegian grammy award winner Hegge and Flukten, the two Norwegian grammy nominees Megalodon Collective and Siril Malmedal Hauge, and other projects such as Espen Berg trio, Kjetil Mulelid Trio and Chick Corea & the Trondheim Jazz Orchestra.
