Wanna.B (Hangul: 워너비; stylized in all caps) was a South-Korean girl group formed by Zenith Media Contents in 2014.[1] The group debuted with the single "Attention" in 2015.

History[edit]

2014-15: Debut & comeback with "Hands Up"[edit]

Wanna.B was formed by Zenith Media Contents in 2014. The group's first release was on November 17, 2014, with the single "My Type".[2] After three members left and five joined the group, they officially debuted with "Attention" on July 20, 2015. At the time of debut, the six member group consisted of JiWoo, SeJin, SeoYoon, SiYoung, Ami & EunSom.[citation needed]

On November 11, 2015, the group made their first comeback with their second single "Hands Up".[3]

2016-2019: Line-up changes, comeback with "Why?" and disbandment[edit]

On April 6, 2016, Zenith Media Contents announced that member SeoYoon would be leaving the group due to back pain. In addition, the label added two new members, these members were RoEun & Lina. Lina was revealed to be the older sister of Girl's Day member Minah.[4] The new line-up made their comeback on June 26, 2016, with their third digital single "Why".[5]

In November 2016, members JiWoo & SiYoung decided to leave the group.[citation needed]

On February 20, 2019, the group released the single "Leggo".[citation needed] In late 2019, Zenith Media Contents removed Wanna.B's profile from their list of artists.[citation needed]
