Warradale Barracks, established in the 1950s, is an Australian Army base located in Warradale, South Australia, South Australia. The Army Barracks is situated on an approximately 23 hectare parcel of land located 9 kilometres south-west of the Adelaide CBD. Facilities include a main warehouse building and a number of smaller maintenance areas and storage sheds.[1]
The barracks currently services the following:
- 9th Combat Service Support Battalion
- 10th/27th Battalion, The Royal South Australian Regiment
- Alpha Company (Royal Australian Infantry)
- 3rd Field Squadron (Royal Australian Engineers)
- The Australian Army Band - Adelaide
- 8 Platoon, C Company, 1st Military Police Battalion
- 43 Army Cadet Unit
- 609 SQN Air Force Cadets
