Warren Pettey
Born in 2000 just south of Boston, Warren is a musician and engineer who found his passion for music at a young age.[1] Introduced to drums by his father at two, he quickly added piano and bass to his repertoire by age five.[2][3] By 10, Warren was already performing gigs around town and opening for Gretchen Parlato at The Narrows Center for the Arts.[4]
Graduating high school at 16, Warren was recognized by Hal Crook as an exceptional talent.[5] He received Berklee College of Music’s prestigious Presidential Scholarship, where he delved into recording and mixing techniques, earning credits on major labels like Warner Music and PBS as well as studying and collaborating with industry giants like Michael League of Snarky Puppy and Susan Rogers (Prince).[6][7]
Since the pandemic, Warren has worked with producer Tony Succar, contributing to award-winning projects and earning credits on Tony's GRAMMY-nominated albums "Live in Peru" and "MIMY & TONY."[8] He also achieved a mixing award in the AES Student Recording Competition. Today, Warren continues to perform and work as an engineer and personal assistant at Unity One Studios.[9][10]
