Warsaw Institute for Strategic Initiatives
Warsaw Institute for Strategic Initiatives (Polish: Warszawski Instytut Inicjatyw Strategicznych) is a Polish think tank founded in 2016, specializing in broadly defined defense policy and international security. The Institute’s mission is to provide support in shaping security policy and strategic planning in the Republic of Poland. The organization accomplishes its tasks by preparing analyses, expertise, reports, organizing debates and workshops, as well as educational activities. The headquarters of the Institute is located in Warsaw.[1]
Statutory Aims
- Supporting actions to strengthen Poland’s independence;
- Acting to develop strategic thought in Poland;
- Raising historical, cultural, and legal awareness among citizens;
- Spreading knowledge and skills, educating and supporting current and future governmental administrative staff, local council administrative staff, business entities, as well as NGOs and Polish citizens on issues concerning the defense of the Republic of Poland.
Cooperation
To accomplish its goals, the Warsaw Institute for Strategic Initiatives cooperates with public authorities, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, business entities, and other NGOs.
