The Watch Technology Institute (WTI) is a watchmaking school located in Seattle, Washington. WTI is part of North Seattle College.
WTI offers a two-year, 3000+-hour Swiss American Watchmaker's Training Alliance (SAWTA) curriculum. The school is the only watchmaking program on the West Coast of the United States and is currently the only certification-oriented program still attached to a public educational institution. The program focuses on micromechanics and watch service with an emphasis on chronograph, automatic watches, and manual-wind mechanical watches. Curriculum also covers quartz watches, case and bracelet refinishing, and other horology-related topics.[1]
