WatchTime is a bi-monthly US-publication about mechanical watches. The magazine covers all aspects of wristwatches on- and offline: the history of watchmaking, extensive technical reviews and introductions of contemporary and vintage timepieces; interviews and portraits of the watchmakers and companies that manufacture them, coverage from trade shows like Baselworld and SIHH, auction reports and portrays of people who collect, wear and sell them. Product reviews usually include original photography, timing results, practical tests and disassembly. The magazine and its publishing company was founded in New York City in 1999 by the Ebner Publishing Group of Ulm, Germany. There are local editions in Mexico, Dubai, India and Turkey.
Over the years, WatchTime has organized several watch events around the US[1]. The publication is a member of FIPP[2] and distributed in North America (for example at Barnes & Noble and Hudson News), in South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and India.
