Lead On: Watermark’s Silicon Valley Conference for Women[edit]
On February 24, 2015 Hillary Clinton addressed the Watermark Silicon Valley Conference for Women in Santa Clara, California. She was paid $300,000 for what was, essentially, a campaign speech. She was introduced by board member of Watermark Ann Barlow. Tickets were $245. Other speakers included Brené Brown; Jill Abramson; former executive editor of The New York Times, Candy Chang, author and creator of the Before I Die project; Kara Swisher, co-CEO and co-owner of All Things Digital; Diane von Fürstenberg and Renée James, president of Intel.[3]
