The Wave Group is a business conglomerate that deals in the manufacturing, real estate, education, sports, and entertainment industries.[1] Over the course of 50 years, the group has expanded across multiple segments in manufacturing and production in India.[2] The conglomerate has been growing under the leadership of Manpreet Singh Chadha (known as Monty Chadha), Vice Chairman of the group.[3]

History

Envisioned by the late Kulwant Singh Chadha, the Wave Group was established in 1963.[4] Starting as a sugar cane crushing business, the group's major industrial diversification began with the paper manufacturing unit in Bilaspur, Uttar Pradesh, a steel plant in Dhanaura, Uttar Pradesh, and finally diversified into real estate, with the opening of the popular Centerstage Mall (now Wave Mall).[5] It is located in Noida's business centre, Sector 18.

After the death of Gurdeep Singh Chadha, his son Manpreet Singh Chadha has led the Wave Group since 2012.[6]
