The Webster University – Athens Campus (Greek: Κολλέγιο Webster Αθηνών) is a fully owned accredited campus of the Webster University.
History[edit]
Webster University Athens Campus [Webster Athens] was chartered in 2014 in Greece. Webster Athens is a fully owned accredited campus of Webster University. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs in various disciplines, including liberal arts, business, management, and teacher education.
"Κολλέγιο Webster Αθηνών" - Webster Athens has been accredited/licensed by the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs of the Hellenic Republic to operate in Hellas [Greece] under License Number: 127051/K1/01-08-2016 [Government Gazette 2585/B'/22.08.2016]
According to law 4093/2012 and subsequent regulations [Government Gazettes: 229/19.11.12, 3324/12.12.12 and 258/08.12.2014], degrees awarded for programs of studies by colleges that are accredited by international organizations (including HLC, Webster’s accreditation body), are eligible for recognition of professional equivalency to degrees awarded by the Greek standard system of higher education.
The campus is located in the shadow of the Acropolis, in the historic Plaka neighbourhood of central Athens.
Webster University, founded in St. Louis, Missouri in 1915 is a non-profit U.S.-based university that is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (North Central Association), and the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) In 2019, Webster University was ranked 17th among regional universities (Midwest) by U.S. News & World Report.

Study Abroad Programs[edit]
Webster Athens Study Abroad programs are designed to afford college students a rich cultural experience in the birthplace of Western civilization and democracy while taking accredited, upper-level courses in their chosen fields of study. The study abroad programs are based in the facilities of Webster Athens in the heart of downtown Athens, footsteps away from Plaka, the historic section of Athens at the foothills of Acropolis. Two buildings house classrooms, a student center, library, computer lab, and administrative offices. With its extraordinary artistic, intellectual and cultural heritage, Athens is richly endowed with resources for formal study and experiential learning. The museums of the Acropolis and the ancient Agora, as well as the National Archeological Museum, the Cycladic Museum, and the Benaki Collections are within minutes of the facilities of Webster Athens. Cultural events including concerts, recitals, dance and theatre, as well as international trade shows, conferences and symposia, public lectures, gallery exhibits, sports events, and marathons, are an integral part of life in this bustling, cosmopolitan city at the confluence of Europe, Asia and Africa.
Undergraduate & Graduate Program: WINS-Odyssey in Athens offers accredited courses with an international or cross-cultural focus in anthropology, business administration, journalism, history, literature, political science, and economics. Courses surveying Greek civilization from ancient times to the present, cover art and architecture, ethnography and culture, history, literature, politics, and language.
