Wes Yee (born October 2, 1993) is an Asian American music producer, artist and host of The Music Journal podcast. He is best known for his work with Kyle Bent, including but not limited to mixing the album, "The Moment Is Forever," and their collaboration on the song "Found Us.[1] [2].
Biography[edit]
Wes was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, where he also attended Berklee College of Music on a scholarship[3]. This is where he met the 3x Grammy Award Nominated audio engineer, Mike Moss. Mike and Wes became friends and Wes was able to acquire his first credits as an audio engineer at Mike's studio, Soundscape Boston[4][5][6].
Soon after, Wes began freelancing and working with a variety of other artists. He also wrote and produced jingles for the radio[7]. He met Christopher J. Wirth, the host of the "No Quit Living" podcast in early 2017, and became the audio editor and music producer for "No Quit Living"[8].
After working with Chris for some time, he created his own podcast titled "The Music Journal"[9] [10]
The Music Journal has ranked at #2 on iTunes in the Music category[11].[12] [13]
