Weston Koury (born January 7, 2002) is a former YouNow sensation and YouTuber. Starting his channel in 2016, he grew to fame making comedic videos such as challenges, Twitch streams, Vlogs, interacting with his fanbase, and other content. He often features his older sister, Kalynn Koury, and few close friends. in his videos. In 2018, he published a satire music video, titled "I AM SO SORRY,"[1] in reference to going MIA on numerous platforms.The title is later contradicted in the song, when Weston says he's not sorry, and the period of inactivity was needed for him to do something which makes him happier. The music video was published to bring light to his new YouTube channel which he started with his sister Kalynn after she graduated high school. They moved to an apartment in New York City and publish gaming videos, lifestyle vlogs, and cooking videos under the name "Sinjin Drowning."[2] As of June 2020, their channel has over 100,000 subscribers.[2] They often collaborate with fellow Youtubers Elle Mills[3] and Emma Chamberlain.[4]

Weston Koury was born in in Greensboro, North Carolina on January 7, 2002 to (filler space) and Cyndi Koury. He has an older sister named Kalynn and two cats named Jade and Beck.[citation needed]
He went to *filler space* but was later moved to online school from freshman year onwards.[citation needed]
After his sister, Kalynn, graduated in 2018, they both moved to New York City and started a gaming channel together.

Weston started on YouNow in 2015, using YouNow and musical.ly (now TikTok) as his main platforms for content. He later shifted over to YouTube in 2016. He's been affiliated with other YouTubers & Social Media Influencers such as Elle Mills, Emma Chamberlain, Baby Ariel, Mario Selman, and Twitch streamer aksually. He has a large instagram following due to both his musical.ly account, and his posts, which tend to be comedic poses & photos. His Instagram account reached 1 million followers in 2017, but has since dropped back down to 900k. As of June 2020, he has over 960,000 Instagram followers. He rarely uses his personal YouTube account, and has since switched over to his gaming channel with his sister Kalynn, where they post on weekdays. The duo named their channel "Sinjin Drowning" in reference to a Victorious episode in which Sinjin van Cleef is playing in a kiddie pool, and seconds later he is seen lying face down.[5] Sinjin Drowning merch[6] has revolved around the scene, including numerous depictions of the "drowning."
