Intergalactic
Whole Lotta Wes is the upcoming third studio album by Wild Wes. It is to be released sometime in 2021, possibly during April. It’s also the second project from Wild Wes to be released by Flex Entertainment. The album's artwork and name were revealed on Wild Wes' Twitter on Christmas Day of 2020, the same day Answers was released. The album is also speculated to be Wild Wes’s final album before his hiatus due to the amount of time remaining of school once the album drops.
The album went through production for 2-3 months.
This is the project Wild Wes put the most effort into in his whole career.
The album also has a story; some songs transition to the interludes and the interludes transition into the songs.
This album is also supposed to be Wild Wes’s best work, he said this in a tweet on January 1st of 2021!
Background
Wild Wes decided to plan for a third album before he was completely finished with his second album, Moonquake. So he got to work to find more beats that he enjoys. Wild Wes started recording the album on November 1st of 2020, while writing for the album throughout October of 2020. Then, he scrapped that album, which he titled Eclipse. He then came up with Enter The Galaxy in November of 2020, then that was shelved and then he wanted to make Whole Lotta Wes.
There is a rapper who made a track which was a remake or a parody of the worst Wild Wes track, One For Da Ages. Wild Wes states this on the album:
- "It's funny how yall copying my style from years ago"
There’s also a lot of sneak disses on the album.
The album was recorded throughout January and February.
Delay
The album was almost delayed due to not being finished in time for the release of the album.
Singles
There were six singles that dropped before Enter The Galaxy dropped.
Bank, the first single, dropped on December 11th of 2020.
Answers, featuring Lil Squeaky, dropped on Christmas of 2020.
Proud of Me, featuring Lil Joof, dropped on January 15th of 2021.
Lotto, featuring Beetlebat dropped on February 12th of 2021.
Bands Up, featuring Lil Mosquito Disease, dropped on March 5th of 2021.
Elite 18, featuring Sammy The Fish, also dropped on March 26th of 2021.
Diamonds dropped the exact same day as the album with a music video as well.
