Wichita State Shockers Track and Field[edit]

The Wichita State Track and Field is an intercollegiate track and field team for Wichita State University, located in Wichita, Kansas. The team competes at the NCAA Division 1 level and is a member of the American Athletic Conference. They participate in indoor and outdoor track and field, as well as cross country. Known as the Shockers, the team men's team was fielded in 1946. The team hosts their track meets at Cessna Stadium, in Wichita, KS. Steve Rainbolt is the current head coach.

The Shockers have had 120 athletes compete at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Championships, 45 Indoor and 94 Outdoor, some competing in both indoor and outdoor and in multiple events. 28 athletes finishing all - American indoor and 55 finishing all - American in the outdoor championships and have 3 National Champions.
