The Wiko WIM Lite is a smartphone selled by Wiko mainly in France and manufactured by Tinno in China. It's the low cost version of the Wiko WIM.

Hardware[edit]
This board comes with Qualcomm Soc, so it can be turned into the Qualcomm Download Mode 9006 that is used to write the eMMC memory. To put the device into DLOAD mode, from power off, the buttons power + vol up + vol down have to be pressed. Then the screen "Press 8s boot into DLOAD" will appear. When the screen turns off and the RED led blink, the device is in EDL mode. This mode is used by the wiko official programmer[2] for windows to make a fresh install on the device, but some solutions exists for linux[3].
Software[edit]
The Wiko WIM Lite operating system is based on Android 7.1.1, and Wiko has officially released open source the kernel[4]. The kernel that they have released is based on the kernel for Qualcomm chips[5] with some tinno vendor specific firmware mostly the firmware for the fingerprint sensor.
The operating system comes with several preinstalled applications :
- Google play and Google services
- Gameloft games : Minion Rush, Spider-Man : Ultimate Power, Asphalt Nitro

Some private datas has been collected through wiko operating system to tinno servers[7], this has been done using preinstalled apps in the wiko operating system.
