Wil Klass
Wil Klass (born Wilert P Klass)[1] is a US-born writer, photographer and traveler. He has authored all or part of several travel guidebooks, including the 1990s backpacker classic Asia Overland,[2][3] co-authored with Mark Elliott. His other travel content work includes writing for U.S. News & World Report, the initial build out of the Travel Channel website[4] for the Discovery Channel,[5] the brand creation of the Night + Day guidebook series[6] and the launch of the Spot Cool Stuff online guide.[7]
His travel adventures have gained Klass an audience with the Presidents of Belize, Ingushetia and Kyrgyzstan, as well as with the 14th Dalai Lama. He returned from a trek to Mount Everest on the back of a yak.[8]
Klass attended the Travel Blogger Show in Las Vegas on September 11, 2011.
