William Rudolf Leibold (April 4, 1923 – March 11, 2022), also known as Bill Leibold, was a United States Navy officer who served during World War II.[1] He was a crew member of the submarine USS Tang (SS-306) and was among the survivors when the submarine was sunk in October 1944.[2]
