The Winston Knolls School was previously known as The Bancroft School and was also known as The Chicago Education Project (CEP), The Winston Knolls School is a privately owned non-profit school,[1] owned by The Winston Knolls Foundation & The Winston Knolls Education Group. School Information
The Winston Knolls School has moved from Hoffman Estates, Illinois to Elgin, Illinois to move into a more "campus" like setting. Their campus will be by Interstate 90 and Illinois State Route 31.[4] The school said this new campus will feature a second floor with a gym, large multipurpose room, and a private parking lot with a closed-loop system for student pickup and drop-off. This will help the students as they come in from a range of cabs, School buses, and other methods of transportation. Along with this the new campus will be a new outside exterior courtyard for social engagement and other engagement activities including nature related activities.[2][3][5]
School History
The Winston Knolls School was sued in 2022, for claims of "Civil Rights Act of 1964" and among other reasonings.[6][7]
