Joseph Tearial Gordon Jr. (born May 24, 1998), known professionally as Wizdakidd, is an American rapper from Clarksdale, Mississippi. He rose to prominence in 2021 following the release of his album Numa. His debut studio album, Thee Loner Returns (2021), spawned a social media partnership with Ysl rapper Gunna and the single "Sonic 06" featuring YouTuber Nemraps.
Early Life
Gordon was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi in the Riverton neighborhood. He was raised by his grandparents who both worked in the Clarksdale Municipal School District. He graduated from Clarksdale High School in 2016.
In Fall 2016, he became a college student at Jackson State University where he studied Industrial Technology. He later left Jackson and moved to Los Angeles to pursue music.
Career
2016 - 2017 Music Career Start
In 2016, Gordon began producing in his dorm room at Jackson State University.
2018 - Current Rap Career On September 23, 2018: Patient Zero released
In 2019, He started his own record label "WDK RECORDS, LLC". In 2020, He moved to Los Angeles and started his own clothing line "Aonaran"
On August 16, 2021: Wizdakidd ranked in the top 50K "Hip-Hop & Rap" artists in the world.
On September 1, 2022: S.S.XIII released
On October 6, 2022: Behave reached Spotify popularity of 35.
