Worldwide Asset eXchange
The Worldwide Asset eXchange (WAX) is a distributed platform for creating, buying, selling and trading virtual items (e.g. computer game characters).[1][2] It was founded in 2017 by the founders of OPSkins: John Brechisci Jr, Jonathan Yantis and William Quigley. Its own crypto currency is called WAX, was issued by ICO and (as of October 2019) is one of the 100 crypto currencies with the highest market capitalization.[3] Over 5 million virtual goods with a trading volume of over 50 billion dollars are traded daily via the Worldwide Asset eXchange[4][5]
